   referencing Second Blood EP, 12", EP, 91DSR/CLR1. This record took some balls to release. The title track "Second Blood" is so slow that you as a dancer or listener will not be sure what to do. Its even slower than head-nodding speed. Slower than Andy Stott's slowest!/5(93).

   It's two years since his last solo EP, returning here with an elegantly slow and purposeful swagger. Claro's sound is potent, yet heavily grooving. It's best heard on the A-side 'Second Blood', a squashed and heady affair limboing way below the bpm barrier with lush airy chords and a billowing square bass arced by soul-tugging string signatures.
